Our GPS

We are presently using a ‘Magellan Meridian Colour’, and for our present usage (here in Tassie) .. it does everything we need it to do, in conjunction with the excellent mapping programme, ‘Discover Australia’.

I have no doubt that if we lived within a high density cache area/state, we would definitely upgrade again to a Navman Pin or such like. But for now we prefer our ‘personal’ challenge with our ‘Magellan Meridian Colour’.

Appreciation

At this point in time, I’d like to express our appreciation to all geocachers, especially those who have hidden caches for us to find. In the past fourteen months or so since we discovered Geocaching, new caches are continually popping up everywhere! We have also felt privileged to meet many other geocachers along the way! The buzz of swapping geo-stories with another cacher, either over a coffee, chatting on ICQ … or at an Event … certainly adds to the enjoyment!!

However, there is still a vast ‘un-tapped’ area of Tassie that is ’screaming out’ for more caches, namely the East Coast. Aloysius and Snuva are obviously trying to remedy it …. (Goooo Digger and The Princess!) …

And last but not least, an extra huge thankyou to Horus, who gave us some much needed , and very helpful ‘geo-tips’ in our early days … and who is also hosting this site.

This and that!

Welcome to our humble little home on the web! There are four of us.

Mr Waterwells, who is the mapping expert within our family.

Mrs Waterwells, the writer of this scribe and every nonsensical nonsense that appears hereafter!

Zoe, an 18 month old Silky Terrier, who can only be described as ‘Miss Personality Plus’, with a huge attitude!

And last but not least, there is Bella. A three month old, very mischievious, albeit delightful Maltese Terrier.

Mr and Mrs Waterwells have three ’supposedly’ adult children. (Hmmmm, do any of us ever fully ‘grow up’?? … I sincerely hope not! … *smile*).

At this point in time, and until ’said children’ opt to provide us with grand-babies … Zoe and Bella are ‘IT’. They are the much loved grand-babies of Mr and Mrs Waterwells.

Sooooo, on that note .. this site will be updated on a regular basis, with some of my musings and meanderings. Mostly is will be ‘happy stuff’, but then again some of it may be controversial …… feel free to leave a comment!
